How is the jewelry finished? Most of the copper and silver jewelry is given a chemical oxidation to lend it a more aged, industrial look. Copper pieces are also coated with a micro-crystalline wax to prevent fingerprints from tarnishing the metal. The jewelry can be cleaned by wiping it with a soft cloth. Metal polishes and cleansers should be avoided as they can remove the oxidation and protective wax.
